Editors and Reviewers
During the peer review process, reviewers receive limited manuscript data. In double-blind mode, the identity of authors and reviewers remains confidential.
Crossref (DOI)
When assigning a DOI to your publication, bibliographic metadata (title, authors, affiliation) is shared with Crossref for digital identifier registration.
Service Providers
We use technology service providers (hosting, email, payment processing) that may access personal data under strict confidentiality agreements.
Legal Obligations
We may disclose personal data when required by law, court order or competent authority.

While the account is active. After deletion, it is kept in backup for 90 days.
Publications
Maintained indefinitely as part of the permanent academic record, including metadata and DOI.
Review data
Retained for a minimum period of 5 years to ensure traceability of the editorial process.
Billing data
Retained for the period required by applicable tax legislation (minimum 5 years).
10. Minors
Jiyaway is not intended for persons under 18 years of age. We do not intentionally collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor without proper authorization, we will proceed to delete it immediately.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a minor under your care has provided personal data to our platform, please contact us so we can take the necessary measures.
