These terms govern the use of the Jiyaway platform. By registering and using our services, you agree to comply with the conditions established herein.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering on Jiyaway, accessing the platform or using any of our services, you declare that you have read, understood and accepted these terms of use in their entirety.
If you do not agree with any of these terms, we ask that you refrain from using the platform. Continued use of Jiyaway after the publication of modifications to these terms constitutes your acceptance of said changes.
These terms are complemented by our Privacy Policy and Editorial Policies, which form an integral part of the agreement between you and Jiyaway.
2. Service Description
Jiyaway is a digital academic publishing platform that facilitates the publication of electronic books (e-books) with ISBN, chapters with individual DOI and verifiable publication certificates.

To use Jiyaway's services, it is necessary to create an account. By registering, you commit to:
Truthful Data
Provide truthful, complete and up-to-date information. The use of false data or third-party data without authorization constitutes a violation of these terms.
Credential Security
Maintain the confidentiality of your password and access credentials. You are responsible for all activities carried out under your account.
One Account Per Person
Each user must maintain a single account. The creation of multiple accounts by the same person may result in the suspension of all of them.
Data Updates
Keep your profile information up to date, especially your email, institutional affiliation and academic data.
4. Intellectual Property
Copyright
Authors retain copyright over their works published on Jiyaway at all times. Publication on our platform does not imply transfer of economic rights.
Creative Commons License
All works published on Jiyaway are distributed under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license. This allows third parties to share and adapt the material, provided the source is properly cited and it is not used for commercial purposes.
License to Jiyaway
By submitting a manuscript, the author grants Jiyaway a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to publish, reproduce, distribute and make the work publicly available in digital format, as part of the e-books and the academic platform.
Platform Content
The design, logos, software and other elements of the Jiyaway platform are the exclusive property of Jiyaway and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
5. Editorial Process
Manuscripts submitted to Jiyaway undergo a rigorous evaluation process. By submitting a work, the author accepts the following conditions:
Peer Review
All manuscripts are evaluated through peer review, in double-blind mode. Reviewers are experts in the thematic area of the work.
Editorial Decisions
Editorial committee decisions are final. They are based on reviewer evaluations, AI analysis and compliance with editorial standards.
No Publication Guarantee
Submitting a manuscript does not guarantee its publication. Only works that meet the established quality criteria will be accepted for publication.
Editorial Deadlines
Jiyaway commits to communicating the editorial decision within the established deadlines. Failure to meet deadlines by the author may result in manuscript withdrawal.
6. Author Responsibilities
By submitting a manuscript to Jiyaway, the author declares and warrants that:
Work Originality
The manuscript is an original work of the author(s), has not been previously published in its entirety nor is being simultaneously considered by another publisher.
Co-author Authorization
All co-authors have reviewed and approved the final version of the manuscript, and have given their consent for submission to Jiyaway.
Compliance with Ethical Standards
The research presented complies with applicable ethical standards, including ethics committee approvals, informed consents and conflict of interest declarations.
Plagiarism Prohibition
The work does not contain material copied from other sources without proper attribution. All citations and references are correctly documented.
Data Accuracy
The data, results and conclusions presented are truthful and have not been fabricated or fraudulently manipulated.
Third-Party Rights
The manuscript does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights. The author has the necessary authorizations to use any protected material.
7. Reviewer Responsibilities
Reviewers play a fundamental role in the editorial process. By accepting a review invitation, the reviewer commits to:
Confidentiality
Treat the manuscript as a confidential document. Do not share, discuss or use the content of the work before its publication.
Objective Evaluation
Conduct an impartial and constructive evaluation based on academic criteria, without influence from personal factors.
Conflicts of Interest
Declare any real or potential conflict of interest and decline the review if it cannot be objective.
Meeting Deadlines
Complete the review within the assigned deadline. If unable to comply, notify the editor with sufficient advance notice.
Substantiation
Provide feedback supported by clear arguments and references when pertinent.
Integrity
Do not use ideas, data or information from the manuscript for personal benefit before the work is published.
8. Payments and Refunds
Publication Fees
Some calls may require payment of a publication fee (APC - Article Processing Charge). The amount, currency and payment conditions are specified in each call before manuscript submission.
Payment Timing
Payment is made only after the manuscript has been accepted for publication, unless the call specifies otherwise.
Refund Policy
A full refund will be granted if Jiyaway fails to publish the e-book within the committed deadlines. Refunds will not be issued once the manuscript has been published and the corresponding DOI has been assigned. Refund requests must be made in writing to contacto@jiyaway.com.
Receipts
Jiyaway issues electronic payment receipts for all transactions made on the platform.
9. Certificates and DOI
Jiyaway issues digital certificates and assigns DOI identifiers to accepted publications:
Publication Certificates
Issued after e-book publication. They are verifiable online through a unique code and contain author data, title, ISBN and DOI.
Review Certificates
Issued to reviewers who satisfactorily complete the evaluation process, certifying their participation as peer reviewers.
DOI (Digital Object Identifier)
Each published chapter receives an individual DOI registered in Crossref, which guarantees permanent identification and citability of the work.
Verifiability
All certificates and DOIs issued by Jiyaway are verifiable through our platform and Crossref records.
10. Limitation of Liability
The Jiyaway platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Jiyaway does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability of the platform.
- We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or veracity of published manuscripts. Content responsibility lies exclusively with the authors.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the platform.
- Our total liability shall be limited to the amount actually paid by the user in the last 12 months.
- We do not guarantee that use of the platform will meet the user's expectations regarding academic or professional results.
11. Termination
Jiyaway reserves the right to suspend or cancel user accounts in the following cases:
- Violation of these terms of use or editorial policies.
- Submission of manuscripts with plagiarized or fraudulent content.
- Use of false data or identity theft.
- Conduct that harms the integrity of the editorial process.
- Activities that compromise platform security.
- Failure to meet payment obligations.
The user may request account cancellation at any time. Publications already made and assigned DOIs will be maintained as part of the permanent academic record.
12. Applicable Law
These terms of use are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Peru. In particular, the following apply:
- Law No. 29733, Personal Data Protection Law, and its Regulations.
- Legislative Decree No. 822, Copyright Law.
- Law No. 29571, Consumer Protection and Defense Code.
- Applicable regulations on electronic commerce and digital services.
Any dispute arising from these terms shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the city of Lima, Peru, with the parties waiving any other jurisdiction that may correspond to them.
